Quality control

Six checks before anything leaves the yard

Bamboo is a natural material, so variation is normal. What is not normal is a carton that differs from the approved sample — that is what these checks exist to prevent.

Process

Where we check, and what we check for

Each checkpoint has a written record. If a batch fails, it goes back before packing, not after loading.

  1. 01

    Raw bamboo intake

Age, diameter and moisture measured on arrival. Wet or over-aged poles are rejected.

  2. 02

    Shaping

Diameter and point angle gauged every 500 pieces against the approved sample.

  3. 03

    Polishing & sorting

Splinters, discolouration and bent sticks removed by hand on a lit table.

  4. 04

    Moisture & hygiene

Moisture kept below 10%. Packing area separated from the dust-generating lines.

  5. 05

    Packing check

Bag count, seal strength, print position and carton weight verified.

  6. 06

    Pre-shipment

Random cartons opened from each pallet; photos sent before the container is sealed.

Third-party inspection

You are welcome to send an inspector

If your company or your buyer requires a pre-shipment inspection, we arrange access and cooperate fully. Many of our customers use SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek.

  • Access to the production line and warehouse during working hours
  • Cartons opened at random from any pallet you nominate
  • Samples pulled for independent laboratory testing
  • Loading supervised and photographed from start to seal

Want the QC checklist?

We can send the written inspection sheet we use internally, so your team can compare it with your own standard.
